Neuracle Neusen W3 64 (NSW364)
Neusen W3 NSW364 discovery configuration
The provider scans 192.168.1.0/24 by default. It performs parallel TCP
probes first and skips the UDP wait once an NSW364 is found.
Override these values in the device configuration when the amplifier is on a different network:
{
"scan_subnets": ["192.168.10.0/24", "192.168.20.100-120"],
"scan_workers": 64,
"scan_probe_timeout": 0.3,
"scan_udp_timeout": 0.5,
"scan_max_hosts": 256,
}
scan_subnets accepts a CIDR, an inclusive IPv4 range, a broadcast address,
or a single IPv4 address. Keep scan_max_hosts small enough to limit the
scope of network probing.
External trigger server
An NSW364 amplifier and an NST3TB trigger box expose separate TCP streams.
The plugin discovers both devices, connects to the NST3TB independently, and
merges its event packets into the final TRG column returned with EEG data.
Drawing remains the responsibility of the acquisition application.
Automatic discovery normally supplies the trigger-box address. If discovery is not available, configure it explicitly:
{
"connect_trigger_server": True,
"trigger_server_address": "192.168.1.128",
"trigger_server_timeout": 0.5,
}
Sending markers from a paradigm
The plugin also registers the neuracle trigger preset used by the paradigm
designer's Add Trigger component. It sends the same serial marker frame as
the NSE1 plugin (01 E1 01 00 XX at 115200 baud). The NSW364 data driver then
receives the resulting event and places it in the final TRG column.
